9/30 Thursday What should my fat intake be to lose weight
BY: COACH RAY TRAITZ
This question carries over from last week.
If you are not monitoring how much energy (food/ calories) you are taking in and the amount of energy you burn then unfortunately you will have a very hard time losing weight.
If you think about it anything in access will lead to weight gain. It doesn’t matter if it’s protein, fat, or carbs. They all have a value and that is calories.
Remember the law of thermodynamics?
Basically, the laws of thermodynamics determine if weight is gained, lost, or remains the same.
Yes, if you eat less and burn more you will lose weight, and if you eat more than you burn you will gain. But there is more involved than ‘energy in” vs “energy out”.
Energy is when food is taken into the body as calories through food and drink.
Energy out is when the body uses calories for daily energy requirements.
